This week’s prompt is based around the idea of “Don’t judge a book by the cover” — ironically, by asking us to look for books with the most attractive covers! It’s actually pretty lucky for me that this week’s topic was a relatively quick one because this is my first week back to work in-person full-time in about a month, and I knew my time would be limited. For this week’s prompt, I decided to focus on all of the books on my TBR list on Goodreads, and not just the set that I have earmarked for my challenges this year. It was actually a little harder than I expected to find books that really jumped out at me as having especially interesting covers, probably because I added quite a few thrillers to my TBR and the covers of those generally aren’t the most appealing. I decided to just skim through my Goodreads list and see which five jumped out at me first. Unfortunately, none of these are books that I’m actively planning to read any time soon, but the covers had me intrigued! (Again, I have no idea how to make the pictures be less huge, so apologies in advance for the weird sizes)
