I think one of the most irritating parts of participating in a few different weekly memes is that sometimes the topics are very similar to each other! I find this is especially the case toward this time of year, when there are a lot of topics geared toward books that you’d like as a gift, or end-of-year wrap-up topics, like favourites and least favourites. To be honest, the wishlist topic is always a bit annoying for me because by this time of year, my gift-giving occasions have already passed, so it seems a bit silly to make a list. On the other hand, I always have wishlists available on Amazon, Indigo and Book Outlet, since there are just constantly books that I want to get! Looking ahead at upcoming prompts for the month, I saw that a wishlist prompt is also coming up for Top 10 Tuesday next week, so I had to think of some kind of way to differentiate the two. More than that, the majority of the books currently on my list are some of my most anticipated books for next year, which is yet another upcoming prompt! I was very lucky to receive a ton of books for my birthday and also ended up buying a good chunk of the rest of the books that had been on my list soon after due to a great sale. For this week’s prompt, I decided to share some of the books that were on my birthday list that I haven’t bought or received yet, but I still really want!
