My First Summer 2022 Book Haul!

I didn’t even realize my books had accumulated so fast again! I guess it makes sense since I still have a number of books preordered that will be coming in the next month or two, but I was especially surprised to see how many books I’d picked up from Book Outlet. Like I mentioned back in April, Book Outlet seems to be putting in a lot more recent releases lately, so it’s been a great way for me to grab some of my most anticipated books! There are still so many books that I’ve been looking out for, even though I’m completely out of space. Sometimes it’s just a matter of checking the website at the right time. Just last week, I was lucky enough to grab a copy of one of my most anticipated thrillers that came out this year in hardcover, because I happened to be on the page when it was added in. To be fair, I’m not 100% sure yet that I got it because sometimes there’s still a chance someone else will be quicker to put their order through, but I’m hoping it will be in my next box! It’s always very exciting to see newer releases on Book Outlet, and there are still many late-2021 releases that I’m hoping they will add.

This first photo are my books from Indigo, most of which were preorders. There are actually three books here (Stolen Things, All the Ways We Said Goodbye, and People Like Her) that I’d originally intended to buy from Book Outlet, but then I saw them on Indigo’s 3 for $20 page, which was a much better deal! So glad I noticed that before I bought them each for $10-$15 on Book Outlet! Aside from those three, the rest of the books are all preorders of some of my most anticipated books of the year, and I can’t wait to try them!

Like usual, I had to split my Book Outlet orders into two photos because there were just too many to stack together. This first photo is all the adult books that I picked up, including some thrillers, some romance and even some more historical fiction. I was especially excited to see The Collective and The Last Grand Duchess on the site, since both are relatively recent releases that I really wanted to try! I also had a bit of a dilemma about which version of The Replacement Wife to pick since both the hardcover and the paperback were available. Normally I’d go for the hardcover, but I realized that some of Darby Kane’s other books only seem to exist in softcover, and since I’m planning to grab them all, I’d rather be consistent.

The last photo is my YA books that are also from Book Outlet. I think I went a little more out on a limb than usual with some of these books, since I picked up a few that I didn’t know a ton about (A Dark and Starless Forest, for example). There were also a few books that I was really excited to see, especially Good Girl, Bad Blood and Luck of the Titanic, which I’d been strongly considering grabbing the next time I place an Indigo order anyway. I’m very excited to try all of these!
