I wasn’t intending to repeat this topic immediately after last week’s post about summer-y book covers, but when I sat down to choose books for that, I realized how many summer-themed covers I had on my TBR! For last week’s post, I focused specifically on books that I was intending to read within this year or at least have on my current reading challenge plans. As I went through my Goodreads list, I noticed there were an absolute ton of other books that have covers that remind me of summer, even more strongly than some of the ones that I picked last week. Most of these are books that are coming out sometime within 2022 but a couple of them are even upcoming 2023 releases. I think many of these are going to be books to keep in mind when it comes time to make my next set of reading challenge plans for next year! These are all books that are on my radar to pick up in the future, but are not for my current challenges, especially since many are not even out yet. I may have gone a little overboard choosing books. I went back to around mid-2020 before finally giving up, and by then I had already found 18!
