Top 10 Tuesdays: Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get My Own Copy!

This week’s prompt was a lot more challenging than I thought, given that I now buy the majority of my books before I read them! Before the pandemic, the vast majority of my books came from the library and I would sometimes buy a copy if I found something that I really loved. However, when the lockdowns hit, my pattern changed drastically and I ended up buying a ton of books that I wanted to read so I wouldn’t have to wait until things reopened. Even with the library now easily accessible again, I’m still buying the majority of my most anticipated books and even grabbing a bunch of others off Book Outlet where I can generally find inexpensive copies. I really had to dig back into the books I read a few years back and try to remember which of them were library books initially, and I quickly realized that this was the case for the majority of my older YA fantasy series. These are all books that I really loved and was excited to grab my own copy, and many are books that I already want to reread!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
